Marcia Mundrick

Marcia joined the Bristol Mountain Ski Patrol in 1977. Immediately, she began teaching first aid, CPR, and assisting in the Avalanche and Mountain Travel and Rescue programs. She was instrumental in the introduction of Winter Emergency Care and Instructor Development when they were first rolled out. Over Marcia's career, she has taught every educational program except Outdoor Emergency Transportation and has become an IT or trainer/evaluator in each disciplinary field.

She served as assistant section chief and region director in the newly formed Genesee Valley Region. She served as region OEC advisor, division Instructor Development advisor, and assistant division director.

In 2008, Marcia received a Gold Merit Star for NSP National Outstanding Instructor, and in 2013 the region Outstanding OEC Instructor Award was named in her honor. She received her National Appointment Number 6636 in 1986 and a Distinguished Service Award in 2011.
