Larry Pease

Larry Pease joined the National Ski Patorl in 1956 at Hoodoo Bowl at Santiam Pass. In 1961, he moved to Washington, D.C., where he joined the Ski Club of Washington Ski Patrol. He became a member of the Wisp Ski Patrol in 1982. He served as a patrol director, then as region director for the Deep South Region from 1964-69, and later was assistant division director of the Southern Division from 1973-77.

He served as an instructor in numerous disciplines, including Outdoor Emergency Transportation and American Red Cross First Aid. He was also a member of the Cascade Toboggan demo team. From 1974-76, he was a representative to the U.S. Ski Association for the Blue Ridge Ski Council and Pennsylvania Ski Federation.

He received his National Appointment Number 2341 in 1960 and a Distinguished Service Award in 2012. He also recevied a Yellow Merit Star.
