Each year, the National Ski Patrol, with the support of some its sponsors, holds a photo contest open to its members. This contest gives patrollers a chance to win excellent prizes, as well as see their photos in prints in Ski Patrol Magazine. The contest is usually open from January through March, and celebrates a different theme each year. Check every year in December for contest announcement, including prizes and guidelines.
Making Safety Look Good
The 2017 NSP photo contest is titled Making Safety Look Good, and will run from January 2, 2017, to April 12, 2017. Submit your best patroller/ski photos and videos for a chance to win a variety of prizes.
Photos may be submitted in the following categories:
- Patrol Life
- The "Ski/Snowboard Experience"
You can also submit to the Instagram category. This year, you can win in the following Instagram categories ny hastagging the photos with the appropriate tags after uploading them to Instagram:
NSP Marketing Director Melanie Hood, NSP Communications Director Candace Horgan, and NSP Brand and Marketing Specialist Andre Gonsalves will judge the entries. The winners will be announced in May.
