An excellent training tool for alpine (ski and snowboard) toboggan handling, this video is to be used as a supplement to the Outdoor Emergency Transportation manual. (The video by itself will not teach someone how to operate a toboggan.) Shows a variety of sound techniques on a variety of equipment, but does not show the only ways to run a toboggan or all types of toboggans used in patrolling. Techniques are demonstrated on alpine skis, telemark (three-pin), and snowboards with both hard and soft boots. A must for every alpine toboggan trainer. 1997. 15 minutes. VHS.
